UNISON General Secretary Election

Scottish Health Care Branch were delighted to nominate Christina McAnea as Unison General Secretary. To be the 1st woman holding this position in Unison would be historic. Her background in the trade union movement is exemplary, and as a branch we were in no doubt she was the right person to nominate. 

Throughout the current pandemic, she has been very vocal in supporting all health & social care staff and ensuring issues such as PPE and working conditions were at the forefront of discussions with government.
